When selecting a color, consider the mood of a room. Orange fosters a warm atmosphere and boosts your appetite. Preferably use dark orange for your kitchen or your dining room. You can have it for the wall texture. Otherwise, you can apply it for your kitchen appliances or furniture.
We do not encourage using this color for your bedroom as it may lead to insomnia and anxiety. However, it gives an appealing, catchy look in carpets, pillows, curtains or antiques.

Do you want a dining area to sense sociable and exciting or appear formal and quiet? Bright colors add to an energetic atmosphere; whereas deeper blue-greens and neutrals will reflect a more formal ambiance. If you want to engage a fancy atmosphere for your dining room color scheme, the shades of dark red add both vitality and elegance. However, if red does not suit your interest as a whole scheme, you can merely use it for carpets and antiques.

Do you want your kid’s room to generate an active and vivid energy or an orderly and restful sense?
Most of us employ shades of pink in a girl’s room and shades of blue for a boy’s room. However, green is considered one of the best colors that most appeals to a child’s room. It gives a comfortable feeling of refreshment and serves as a mood tranquilizer. In case you do not prefer to use this color, you can use it in finishing touches such as plants, picture frames and rugs. Be careful not to overstimulate your kids with excessive bright hues. You may not know it, but some brighter colors can lead to unrest and irritability.

Bedroom
When selecting your bedroom color, consider the mood of your room. Would you go for a restful and soothing feeling or dramatic and intimate? Soft, cool colors and neutrals usually produce a quieter mood while stronger colors are for drama.
Most of us would prefer violet or light and dark shades of rose in a bedroom’s scheme. However, the best choice is Beige for it’s a neutral quiet color that helps to comfort and relax the eye. It is usually applied with shades of sepia, oyster, and hazel wood to help in expanding a room with ravishing traits. It can also be used as wooden decorative pieces if you do not like to use it for the wall color. Moreover, Gray is a neutral that is best used for windows as it gives a sense of wideness.

Bathroom
Stick to one color for your Bathroom wall. Concentrate on the coordination between the wall, ceramic floors, accessories, and tiles.
On choosing the color of ceramic, preferably choose two colors which are close to each other in their shades. The way colors are composed exhibit them in a better way. As for the bathroom accessories (the faucets, bath vanities, bathtubs, basin, etc…) it is preferred to use Creamy or White; they are neutral colors that fit with the selected colors of ceramic or paint. There is no constant color agreed upon. The choice here is totally personal. However, remember that the presence of plants pots in the corners or on windows give vitality and life to your bathroom.

At the end people prefer colors that are close to their hearts. Work on coordinating between paint, furniture and antiques for your house to match your desired purpose.
